The Hair Fusion Faire will take place on November 9-10, 2025, in Rome at the exclusive Nero Studio.

The Mission

The goal is to revolutionize traditional industry events by offering exclusive, hands-on experiences focused on education instead of product sales. During the event, participants will work directly with top educators, improving their technical and creative skills.

Each educator will guide you step by step through a high-level haircut demo, which you will recreate immediately on the provided mannequins.

The Program

Two days of advanced training featuring a groundbreaking format that combines practical demonstrations and hands-on practice. Participants will be divided into four small groups, each attending sessions led by all four trainers. Each educator will present a unique set of high-level techniques—no repetitive lessons here! You'll complete four different workshops, gaining a variety of skills to elevate your craft.

The Educators

The event will feature world-renowned experts:

• DJ Muldoon: A second-generation hairdresser with over 20 years of experience. DJ began his career at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy and has distinguished himself for his unique ability to teach and simplify haircutting techniques through his “Knowledge Destroys Fear” approach. DJ has collaborated on the development of the Paul Mitchell cutting system and contributed to Vidal Sassoon techniques. As a global artist, he’s known for his step-by-step teaching, empowering hairdressers to practice with confidence and precision.
• Gianni Scumaci: Recognized as a visionary, Gianni is a third-generation hairdresser who started his career at just 14 years old. He became the youngest Creative Director in Vidal Sassoon history, leading international campaigns and creating iconic cuts like "The Fanni," which influenced the fashion world globally. His collaborations include renowned photographers like Tim Walker and Patrick Demarchelier, and his work has been featured in Vogue and other major outlets. Today, Gianni continues to inspire and educate hairdressers worldwide with his GS Education program, blending creativity and precision.
• Joel Torres: Originally from Puerto Rico, Joel is an award-winning stylist with over two decades of experience as part of TIGI's international creative team. Known for his artistic approach, Joel has worked with celebrities and publications such as Italian Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and InStyle. As IGK’s Director of Professional Content and Education, he continues to inspire stylists through workshops, tutorials, and social media.
• Bons Hair: A fourth-generation hairdresser, Bons began his career at 14 in his family’s salon. He refined his skills at top European and UK academies, becoming a master of precision cutting. With a passion for fashion and a vision rooted in daily salon life, Bons continually pushes creative boundaries, making him one of the industry’s leading figures.

Limited Spots: Groups of 8-10 participants

Logistics: We'll provide a couple of convenient pickup points in Rome where our drivers will pick you up and take you to the wonderful class location, just 15 minutes from the Colosseum. At the end of the event, you'll be driven back to the pickup points.
